I can’t remember who, but one of those crazy commie-type revolutionaries once said something to the effect that once the revolution is underway. The idea is that revolution is about the balance of power and for anybody to challenge the current power structure, they need some power themselves, and if they have that power, that pretty much means that the a redistribution of power has already happened.
Anyway, here’s a cute little clip via Hip Mojo that underscores how the advent of online media and Web 2.0 means that the old media is mortally wounded. It will, of course, try to take as many of its assailants as it can with it, but the point is that the deal is already done. What’s most important is how the new media is changing the way that user experiences the world around them. Pretty far out…
