Something I learned on the playground growing up was that the two guys you have to worry about most in a fight are the small guys and the quiet guys. The small guys have something to prove, and they’ll fight till they’re burger. The guys who are talking all the shit, well, they’re just so loud because they don’t want to fight. It’s the quiet guys standing next to them that you have to worry about. The reason they’re not saying anything is because they’re about to make a move. Well, it looks like Loren Feldman has made the case for things being pretty much the same in the worlds of search engines and online marketing as they are on the playground.
